Adams Music Conservatory Policies
-
A non-refundable fee is required at the time of registration. See Schedules
& Fees for Prices. A registration form must be completed and signed before
any student can begin music lessons. If the student is under 18 years old
the form must be sign by a legal guardian.
-
Tuition is paid monthly and is due before or on the first of each month.
-
We accept Cash, Checks and Adams Music Conservatory Gift Cards.
-
Checks with non-sufficient funds will be charged a $25 NSF fee.
-
All payments received after the 5th of the month will incur a $10.00 late
charge. If you know you will not be in for lessons before the 5th of the
month, please mail payment. If tuition is not paid by the 2nd lesson of
each month, a student may be removed from the schedule. To be reinstated,
payments must be made in full, including all missed lessons, late fees,
and payment for the current month.
-
Unscheduled Absences - If you are absent from a lesson for any reason, payment is due for that lesson. No credits or makeups will be issued.
Scheduled Absences - If you are aware of any absences for the month, please inform the front desk by the fifth of the month. All scheduled absences are to be made up that given month. No lessons may be transferred to another month.
-
Music Lessons are scheduled on a monthly basis. If you wish to discontinue
lessons you may do so at any time. Once lessons are discontinued, remaining
tuition/fees will not be reimbursed. Please give notice to your teacher or
front desk staff if you should need to end your lessons to avoid any
additional tuition fees being charged to you.
-
If your lesson is scheduled on a holiday that is observed by Adams Music
Conservatory, there will be no charge for that lesson. Recognized holidays
are: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving,
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve. A full calendar of holidays
and vacation time will be given to you at the time of sign-up and at the
beginning of every school year.
-
If a lesson is canceled due to bad weather, Adams Music Conservatory will
notify you. If you have not been contacted before you leave home for your
lesson, please call ahead to make sure lessons have not been canceled.
You will receive a credit to your account if we cancel lessons.
-
The school reserves the right to provide a qualified substitute teacher if
the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach classes.
If a teacher is unavailable and the school can not arrange a substitute,
any missed lesson will be credited. You will not receive credit if you choose
not to be present for a substitute teacher.
-
Adams Music Conservatory is not responsible for providing supervision or care
for students before or after lessons/class. Parents with students under the
age of 5 are asked to remain in the school during lessons. Damage to Adams
Music Conservatory property, inappropriate behavior/language or theft will
not be tolerated.
-
Gift cards may be purchased and redeemed for payment of music lessons. When
lessons are scheduled and a gift card is used as payment, all terms and
conditions of our Policies and Procedures apply.
