Free Demo Class will be offered at the Adams Music Conservatory on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 at 10:00am (ages newborn to 2 years old) and 11:00am (ages 3-5 years old). Parents should reserve their spot by calling Miss Izabela in advance. The Kindermusik class registration will begin May 13th, 2010. Classes are open to families with children ages newborn to 5 years old and registrations are accepted through June 1st, 2010.

We are proud to announce that Angela Gilbert recently joined our teaching staff. Angela is a versatile performer experienced across the musical spectrum and cherishes her relationship with musical theater, country, jazz and pop. She has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, San Diego Opera, Glyndebourne, The Mozarteum and Carnegie Hall.
As a vocal teacher, Angela has a gift for instructing all ages in good performance practices, solid technique and wonderful musicianship. She holds a Masters in Voice from the Cape Town Opera school and is also a graduate of the Lindemann Young Artist program at the Metropolitan Opera.
I wanted to let you know that I have joined in Kindermusik International "Healthy & Happy" initiative which is created to help protect you and your children from the spread of viruses like H1 N1 flu (also known as the "Swine Flu").
By collecting facts, checklists, and prevention tips from the Centers for Disease Control, Kindermusik is making sure I am more prepared then ever to provide an environment much less likely to allow viruses to spread.

Adams Music Conservatory at Maple Shade Holiday Festival!
Join us Friday, December 4th, 6:00 to 9:00pm for the 12th Annual Holiday Festival on Main Street in Maple Shade.
Santa arrives at 6:15 to light the Holiday tree and visits with children in the Gazebo until 9pm. Vocal students of the Adams Music Conservatory will perform on the Main Stage by the Post Office from 6:30 to 7:00pm. Winter Concert at Pyne Poynt Middle School!
We are pleased to announce the location, date and time of the 2009 Holiday Concert. The concert will take place at the Pyne Poynt Middle School in Camden, NJ on Sunday, December 13th, 2009, from 2-5pm. The Pyne Poynt Middle School offers a secured parking facility, as well as, an auditorium venue with a stage appropriate for the occasion!
There will also be a Chinese Auction this year and a 50/50 raffle along with refreshments for all who attend.
We are looking forward to a wonderful afternoon of musical magic to spark our collective holiday spirit!
Maple Shade, October 2009- The Adams Music Conservatory recently held a studio festival sponsored by the Music Teachers National Association.
The festival is designed to provide a non-competitive means of evaluating a music students progress. The student performs and receives supportive critique from a musician other than his or her teacher.
Nineteen (19) vocal and piano students participated in the festival.
The festival is an invaluable teaching tool, says Izabela Adams. Not only does provide my students with feedback from another music teacher, it serves as a gauge for my teaching.
Izabela Adams is a member of Music Teachers National Association.
MTNA is a nonprofit organization of independent and collegiate music teachers committed to furthering the art of music through teaching, performance, composition and scholarly research. Founded in 1876, Music Teachers Association is the oldest professional music association in the United States.
The adjudicator's for the event were Kristin Titus (Voice) and Frank Staneck (Piano).

World Leader in Children's Musical Learning Brings Free Music to Children World-wide!
Kindermusik International, the world's most respected name in children's musical learning, is hosting a world-wide day of free musical learning to children around the globe. On Wednesday, August 19th, 2009, at the Maple Shade Library in NJ, Izabela Adams from the Adams Music Conservatory was participating in Demo Days a campaign in which more than 5,000 licensed Kindermusik educators are invited to conduct free class demonstrations for families around the world. Kindermusik International is the world's leading publisher of music and movement curricula and products for parents and their children ages newborn to seven years old. Kindermusik educators provide tips that parents can take home from each class to help make great parenting easier in their daily routine.

Adams Music Conservatory's performers make the day at Brewsters Pub!
Sunday afternoon, from 2 to 4, performers from the Adams Music Conservatory touched an enthusiastic crowd with their musical gifts and passion! The students took a natural, relaxed attitude to their songs, which made a Sunday afternoon more enjoyable than a day at the beach. Friends and family supported everyone who performed as if it they were part of one big family. Brewsters staff were thrilled at the talents they were there to enjoy. One staff member mentioned that the show made his day! Tom and Izabela were inspired to dance together to "Stand By Me", swaying and smiling to the happy sounds. With such a positive event and great turnout, Brewsters Pub invited us back hoping to continue the concert series!

Adams Music Conservatory presents Fundamentals of Music 101 course!
This class is designed to provide students with fundamental written and aural music skills. It approaches the subject from both the theoretical and practical perspective, giving students a working knowledge of the language of music. Students will acquire skills that will enable them to read, write, and, interpret music. This involves the study of notation, intervals, scales, transposition, keys, tonality and harmonic syntax.
Each class will be divided between lecture time and in-class work. There will also be a series of take-home assignments, which are intended to develop particular skills and diagnose deficiencies. Four quizzes and a final test will be given in order to evaluate student progress and understanding of material.
Adams Music Conservatory presents Solo Jazz Guitar 101 course!
The purpose of the course is to enable the intermediate to advanced guitarist to spontaneously create chord/melody arrangements in the jazz idiom. The course will include 12 scales, 12 arpeggios and 3-chord families-all, which will be studied in 12 keys. Also featured will be 12 chord/melody arrangements of jazz standards, which will provide the basis for the student to create his own arrangements. The course is reading and theory intensive.
